One of the ways I mark life is by travel, and one of my favorite things to do while traveling is to eat (and drink) my way through a new city. Being gluten-free and dairy-free makes such adventuring a bit of a struggle at times and makes me lustful after things I can’t eat. So when I return home, I try to remake the most memorable dishes.     My puppy knows when I’m about to make these scones. During the summer after college when I moved back home, Monkey and I spent every crisp San Francisco morning together in my parent’s kitchen.
